MVC - PAC 10 Challenge

MVC – PAC 10 Challenge?

The MVC is currently the 7th ranked conference in college basketball. The #6 conference… the PAC 10. Wouldn’t it be fun if these two conferences played a Big Ten - ACC style showdown? It will probably never happen but hey- its the preseason we need something to talk about. If it ever did happen heres how we would match up.

SIU v Arizona

Creighton v UCLA

Wichita St v Washington

Missouri St v Stanford

UNI v California

We would probably be a little out gunned at the top but it would be fun to see none the less. If the games were all on the MVC teams home court I think we could have a chance to pull of 3 of the 5 games. The depth of the MVC becomes important because UNI and Missouri State would probably be favorites at the bottom.

Overall, this quick comparison shows that while the MVC has become very competitive we probably still have some work to do to be considered one of the top conferences in the nation.
